Terms and Conditions

 

I understand that Creative Career Academy (CCA) is a Christian based art, technology, and design school. 

Photo Release: I hereby give permission for images of my child and/or teen, captured during regular and special workshop/camp activities through video, photo, and digital camera, to be used solely for the purposes of Creative Career Academy, and businesses affiliated with for promotional material and publications, such as, but not limited to, the used and featured in magazines, conferences, websites, program events, etc, and waive any rights of compensation or ownership thereto.

Cancellation Policy (Non-Camps)

 

Please note that fees are non-refundable because seating is first come first serve. Refunds are only given if CCA Staff cancels a course. If courses are canceled by CCA Staff and no alternate start dates have been posted, or if new dates are given and you cannot commit to new dates, then you will receive refund within 2 weeks to 120 day period. Refunds maybe given in increments until refunded in full.

Cancellation Policy (Summer Camps/ Seasonal Camps)

  • If you have a change-in-heart within 3 day's of your original purchase date and the camp you had signed up for does not start within a 2 week period, then you may request a refund. Refunds are given within our refund timeline period.

  • If it is an emergency and your child or teen cannot attend camp, then you can also apply your fees as a credit to future Summer Camp or year-round camps with approval of program Counselor.

  • If you cannot attend camp and you “no call, no email, no show”, then you forfeit your seat and we cannot reschedule you for a new camp date.

  • If camps are canceled by CCA Staff and no alternate start dates have been posted, or if new camp dates are given and you cannot commit to new dates, then you will receive a refund.

  • Our refund timeline period is 2 weeks to 120 day period. Refunds may be given in increments until refunded in full.

 

Need to reschedule?

Online Private Lessons

 

There is a 24 hour notice policy if a student misses a class and wants to make it up for free. This way teacher knows 1 day in advance if a student can't attend class. Without a 24 hour notice, the student can make up only 30 minute classes of the class, not a full hour because notice was not given in advance. Or, if neither teacher or students schedule does not permit make up time then you will receive a refund of half the amount of the 1 hour value. If a class was re-scheduled and you are a no-show. The fees are forfeited without refund.

 

 

Group Classes (Online and In-person)

There is a 24 hour notice policy if a student misses a class and wants to make it up for free. This way teacher knows 1 day in advance if a student can't attend class. SUMMER CAMP - FIELD TRIPS (WHEN YOUR CHILD OR TEEN ATTENDS)

 

I, as parent/legal guardian for the child or teen named in this registration, grant permission for my child or teen to participate in Creative Career Academy Summer Camp field trips and events. Acting on behalf of my myself and my child or teen, I hereby waive any and all claims for damages of any kind against Creative Career Academy Summer Camp field trips and event, and further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Creative Career Academy Summer Camp field trips and events, and their contractors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any loss, claim, damage, or liabilities arising out of or related to my child’s or teens participation in field trip or event activities (including transportation of my child to and from field trips), the conduct of my child during such field trip and event activities, or any medical emergencies involving my child that arise during such field trip or event activities. In the event of a medical emergency involving my child during field trip activities, I hereby authorize the Creative Career Academy to administer any reasonable and necessary first aid and to seek emergency medical treatment, understanding that Creative Career Academy will contact me or a designated emergency contact as soon as practicable. I understand that neither Creative Career Academy will not be responsible for any costs, expenses, claims, or liabilities related to emergency medical treatment. Prior to the field trips, I will inform Creative Career Academy of any special medical issues my child might have.

Camps: If you “no call, no email, no show” within 2 weeks of camp then we cannot reschedule you for a new camp date. Camps are carefully planned for seating and for teacher recruiting. Refunds are not given for camps. However, you can use your week as a credit for a future camp if notice is given 3 day's before your camp sign up that you have to cancel.

 

Keeping Enrollment Status Active

 

If your tuition is not paid by the anniversary due date then a $10 late fee/per week charged per student. Every week you skip a week between your re-enrollment you are still charged the $10/per week. Late fee is charged because we will not fill your seat if your child or teen is still enrolled in the course. If you go 3 weeks without payment and you have not contacted (in writing via email) to make arrangements for more time to get your tuition payment in, then your child or teen will automatically be withdrawn from the course.

 



Credit for class?

You cannot receive school credit for online classes or privates lessons online. We are not an accredited program.

 

You May Make Arrangements

If the student is taking classes on-campus you may make arrangements with other families to be responsible for your children for pick up and drop off . You must inform a CCA Representative in writing with the person responsible for your child/children and their contact information.

 

If Disciplinary

 

If projects contradict our Christian school environment on-campus or online, or if the student is disruptive and corrections require more than 3 parent meetings, parents will be asked to remove their children from the program without refund. If violence or profanity, racial, or rude language is used, parents will not be given a warning, student will have to be removed immediately from the program with out refund.

 

Cell Phone Policy - Camps (In-Person)

 

Your child or teen will not be allowed to use cell phones while in classes. Cell phone can be used on lunch hours only or can be used in safety emergency. With health emergency (example: asthma, allergic reaction, etc) staff should be notified by the student so we can call the parent and/or 911-ambulance.

 

Force Majeure

 

Creative Career Academy will not be liable for any failure or delay in services caused by reasons beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, snow days, earthquakes, floods, fire, loss of utilities, and other disasters.

CCA does not discriminate based on religion, race, color, sex, age, national or ethic origin, or handicap. To fulfill our mission and vision our staff & volunteers strive for Mark 2: 16 - 17, welcoming students / parents (believers and non- believers) from different walks of life, cultures, and diversities.

 

Student Projects

We have many students who attend who may not share our faith and others who do share our faith. Now, to stay true to our mission and vision statement students projects/assignments should not promote against our faith as a Christian school. As a parent, you are aware that your child or teen is in a Christian school environment (whether you are a believer or non-believer), therefore, projects should not include anything that contradicts our Christian school environment such as projects that promotes: magic/potions/spells, promotes killing, shooting weapons, stealing, idolatry, goes against the 10 Commandments, evolution, abominations, promotes ungodly character, or contradicts the Bible. Course assignments may be changed at the discretion of the staff / director/ head of school to make sure assignments do not contradict our faith based school environment. We are not a secular school, so projects and assignments must not contradict our faith based environment. Refunds or partial payments are not given for changed assignments.

 

Student Saving Files (In-Person)

 

Students are responsible for getting their own work each week by using a USB Flash drive. Or students who use their own laptops, will remain responsible for their own files and must take the initiative to retrieve files given for class. Note that Creative Career Academy computers undergo maintenance which includes deleting old files. If students damage belonging to Creative Career Academy, and property/materials are not in working condition, parents will be responsible for replacing property/materials.
